Boyles voted favourite bar/restaurant
The premises have been owned for the past three years by brothers Stephen and Damien Carson, who have, in just a small space of time, expanded the business beyond recognition.
It was only in December that, having been running the successful bar, the pair converted the pool-room to open up a small, 22-seater restaurant.

“We cater both for people who just want to come in for a quiet snack or have meal in the hustle and bustle of the bar,” said Damien.
“We have been overwhelmed by the success of our business and this award has just topped it all.
“To think that we have only had the restaurant since December and it has already been recognised.
“That is quite something. It says a lot.”

Stephen was a manager at the Clarion in Carrickfergus and Operations Manager with the Europa for 20 years. Damien was a sales rep within the bar business.
“I feel that our secret of success is the good rapport that we have with the clients,” said Damien.
“We owe a lot to them and we would like to thank them for all their continuing support.”
