Braid venue for annual Dunloy Band Concert

It’s an evenT that has become a firm fixture in the bandsman’s calendar because of the quality of the musical outfits performing for the public.

This year will be no exception as some of the province’s premiere ensembles have been assembled to perform a wide variety of music that will suit every ear.

The concert will open with a performance from the band’s concert group playing a mix of marches, sacred and popular music.

Next on stage will be 3rd Carrick Silver Band with a varied programme and, after a short interval, Londonderry’s Maiden City Beat will take to the stage with a programme of popular songs and tunes.

Finishing the programme in style will be the Regimental Band from East Belfast who are regarded by many as the top Melody Flute band ensemble in the province.

The concert will be compered this year by Brian Johnston, and tickets, priced at £8, can be obtained from band members or from the Braid Centre booking office.
