Bready band among the prizes in Banbridge

BREADY Ulster Scots Pipe Band attended the Bann River Pipe Band Championships in Banbridge on Saturday 8th May 2010 and competed in Grade 4A.

The Bready outfit had a good run and managed to secure 4th place in their Grade at the Championship. As it was the first competition of the pipe band season the band were delighted to be amongst the prizes.

The band have a full calendar of events and competitions planned for the remainder of the season. Next Saturday the Bready Ulster Scots will be travelling to Dungannon to take part in the County Tyrone Championships and the following week will be travelling to the Scottish Championships in Dumbarton on the 22nd May.

Anyone wishing to go on this day trip to Scotland should contact Allen Fleming on 07933477695 as there are still a limited number of seats available, then on the 29th May the band will taking part in County Fermanagh Championships in Enniskillen.
