Break-in at Station Road

A handbag was stolen during a break-in at a house at Station Road at 4.45am in the early hours of Monday December 2.

Then later during an attempted burglary around 6.40am, a thief tried to gain access to a house in the Priory Close area. He was disturbed by the home owner and made off in the direction of the Ballyskeagh Road.

The thief is described as being approximately 30 years old, about 5’9” in height, of medium build and wearing a white hat and dark jacket.
