Breakfast fundraiser

GET your eating irons at the ready for a fundraising festive fry up this Saturday in Dollingstown.

The mouth-watering event takes place in St Saviour’s Church in the village from 8am to 12noon.

It’s all for a good cause with the money going to Charlene’s Project, a charity established by the late Charlene Barr to build and maintain a school in Uganda.

The monies raised from The Festive Fry Up will provide a celebratory meal for the people around Hidden Treasure School over Christmas.

This event replaces the much loved (and much healthier) Dolly Walk, however, the focus is on community and fun as everyone tucks into their breakfast with friends and family.

Dickie and Janice Barr and the rest of the gang will be there in force to both serve and remind people of the great work that continues in Jesus’ name through Charlene’s vision in Uganda.
