Breaking News: Operations get go ahead

All planned operations at Craigavon Hospital will be going ahead today (Wednesday), it was announced at 1.54pm.

Chief Executive of the Southern Trust, Mairead McAlinden, said: “The Trust is able to confirm that, thanks to the efforts of staff across the Trust, all planned operations are currently scheduled to go ahead at both Craigavon Area Hospital and Daisy Hill Hospital today (Wednesday January 7th).

“The situation continues to be regularly reviewed and Trust staff are working to ensure that as far as possible, all planned procedures will continue to be carried out this week.
