Breaking news - three arrested in blackmail investigation
Detectives from the Organised Crime Branch have arrested three people in Cloughmills and Ballymoney today (Thursday) as part of a proactive investigation into blackmail.
A 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in the Cloughmills area this afternoon.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in Ballymoney.
All three suspects have been taken to Coleraine police station for questioning.
A car has been seized for examination and a number of houses in Country Antrim searched.
Police enquiries are continuing.
