Breathe Easy Causeway call for MLA's to back lung health
Breathe Easy Causeway has pledged its full support for the British Lung Foundation Northern Ireland campaign to encourage Assembly members to take positive action in support of better lung health.
BLF Northern Ireland has created a manifesto with four key asks of politicians. Mrs Nessie Blair MBE, the BLF Service Development Manager for Northern Ireland, said: “In short, we want MLAs to improve respiratory health in Northern Ireland, prove that respiratory targets are being met, protect the lungs of future generations and go beyond current practice.”
Mrs Blair added: “We want to see a focus in prevention and promotion, with those living with a lung condition confident that they will receive specialist care. Now is the time for change.”
