Breathe Easy Causeway take campaign on tour

BREATHE Easy Causeway took to the road on Saturday to enjoy their annual coach outing and to campaign against parents smoking around their children.

Chairperson Nessie Blair said: “For the past 25 years British Lung Foundation (BLF) has been helping people affected by lung disease but it is extremely important that we look to the next 25 years and encourage the next generation to look after their lungs.

“In houses where both parents smoke, young children have a 72% increased risk of respiratory illnesses. More than 17,000 children under the age of five are admitted to hospital in UK every year because of the effects of passive smoking.”
