Breland welcomes NAAFI tea launch

WEST Tyrone DUP MLA, Allan Bresland, has welcomed the decision by NAAFI (the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes) to sell its famous brand of tea in some branches of Spar, thus making it available to civilians for the first time.

Mr Bresland said: “This is high quality tea, and it is good to see that it can now be bought by civilian customers.

“But I am particularly delighted to note that 50p from every box will be donated to the charity ‘Help for Heroes’ which helps injured service personnel.

“I would urge all the Spar branches in Northern Ireland to stock this tea, and would encourage everyone to buy it.

“By doing so, they will not only enjoy an excellent cuppa, but they will be supporting those brave British service personnel who have been injured on duty.

“I also intend to request that it be made available in the canteens and dining rooms of Parliament Buildings.”
