Bridge victory in Ardmore
SDLP Councillor Brenda Stevenson has welcomed the news that Derry City Council have successfully won the right of public access to the Green Road in Ardmore.
Cllr Stevenson said: "On behalf of the SDLP, I am delighted at this decision which will see the Green Road in Ardmore being declared a public right of way.
"I stood by local campaigners from both sides of our community who were united in protesting over this issue.
"I have been amazed at the strength of feeling of hundreds of people who never gave up the fight or relinquished hope.
"This decision is a real success for all of them."
