BRING IT ON!

THE football season returns this week with Banbridge Town hosting Glebe Rangers on Saturday (3pm).

It will be a season which will see the club try to bounce back from last season’s relegation from Championship 1 and the hope will be that Ronnie Haughey’s men can come straight back up – although it’s more than likely going to be a case of the Crystal Park side consolidating their position.

The core of last year’s squad remains at the club and they have been boosted by the return of Matty McCartan to the ranks.

The Village open their campaign at Tandragee’s Madden Road pitch after appointing a new management team of Tony McCreanor, Steven McCreanor and Tony McGrath after Andy Frazer left the club to become the new boss of Banbridge Rangers’ reserves.
