The most watched entertainment show of the year Britain’s Got Talent, is going on the road once again to find the most original and exciting talent around. The show will be scouring the length and breadth of the country in pursuit of the best talent for the 2014 series... and this year the team are heading to Belfast.

For the 2014 series, the Britain’s Got Talent team will be heading to Belfast on 24th November for open auditions where the location is still to be confirmed.

Northern Ireland delivered some incredible talent last year, with young singing sensation Jordan O’Keefe reaching the finals. Southern Ireland also provided some great talent with singing duo Jack and Cormac, who warmed the heart of the audience with their singing, and made it all the way to the Semi Finals.

The hit ITV show discovered some exceptional talent for the 2013 series which saw shadow dancers Attraction crowned winners at the glittering final in June. Watched by over 17 million viewers, the final was one of the live entertainment moments of the year with acts like Richard & Adam, Jack Carroll and Luminites making it one of the best and most talked about series of Britain’s Got Talent ever.

Speaking of this year’s quest for new talent, show creator and judge Simon Cowell said “This year I want even bigger and better than before. We want the sensational, the original and of course the best. I want something that I’ve never seen before.”

Fellow judge and king of comedy David Walliams is optimistic about this year being more successful than ever, “As head judge I want to find the best of the best this year. Last year was amazing but we think this year can be even better. We’re looking for every kind of talent.”

The show is open to any performer of any age, from any background, with any talent - all they need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress the judges. Anything goes from comedians to contortionists, dancers to drag acts and acrobats to animals.

Acts attending the open auditions will perform in front of producers for the chance of securing a coveted spot at the judges’ audition rounds which start in January 2014. The winner of Britian’s Got Talent 2014 will secure a life changing cash prize, along with a coveted place at The Royal Variety Performance 2014.
