Broughshane WI

AT THE February meeting of Broughshane WI, the speaker was Andrea McNeill who gave a very interesting talk on ceramics and textiles.

Being a very talented speaker and demonstrator she produced some lovely pictures on felt of animals and birds. There was much admired by the members present.

Magazine winner for the month was Lily McCosh. Competition winners were Annie Hamilton, Mary Knox and Kathleen McFetridge.

A vote of thanks was purposed by Margaret Logan, a delicious supper was served by the Broughshane group and the evening concluded with the singing of the Countrywoman’s Song.

Broughshane WI are holding their table quiz on Friday, April 12 at 7.30pm at Broughshane Community Centre.
