The young people from the club asked the staff if they could have dvd nights and a plan came together to turn one of the rooms into a Cinema.

Over the weeks the staff and the young people designed a room with a projector and the young people spent hours painting the room black ready for the grand opening night which took place at the beginning of April.

The club would like to say a big thank you to Lisa and Lee at Antrim Cineplex for supplying them with the huge amount of posters and cardboard cut-outs that they donated to the club for their Cinema.

The staff and club members also designed a Youth Board so everyone would take part in organising upcoming events planned at the club. The young people organised Football Tournaments, Talent Shows, Parents Night and other various activities that are taking place in the club. One member came up with the idea of a Comments Box so feedback could be used and has proved to be a big success both for the staff and the young people.

The club are looking forward to their upcoming weekend away to Woodhall in May where the young people will take part in the leap of faith, banana boating, orienteering, wilderness village and a trip to the Jet Centre.

The local MLA Mr Paul Frew who lives in the village and has children who are members at the club is a great support to Mandy and her staff team so a big thanks also to Paul.

Anyone with young people aged 8 and over are more than welcome to come along to the club and meet the staff and have a look around at what the club has to offer, the club is open 4 nights per week and volunteers are always welcome, so if you have a skill from cooking to painting and would like to offer an hour at the club to show the young people your talent it would be much appreciated.
