Burglars hit commercial premises at Cloughmills

BURGLARS have struck at commercial premises at the Logan’s complex on the Frosses Road near Cloughmills.

Between 1am and 1.30am on Thursday December 8 a door was forced and a distinctive brand new cash till, black in colour, was stolen. It is a S.A.M. 45ER180 and contained £50 in cash.

Police are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to get in touch and in particular they want to hear of any sightings of a white van.

Inspector David Anderson of Ballymoney PSNI said: “We would ask the public to contact us if they see suspicious activity around premises during the hours of darkness.

“If they find it at all suspicious they should get in touch with us and give a description of a vehicle and a registration number.

“The sooner we get information the better placed we are to respond. On some occasions there will be legitimate reasons why people may be doing business late at night and we are happy to establish that and to allow people to go about their business,” said the spokesman.

Anyone with information about crime can contact police on 08456008000 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
