Burglars take TVs, console and laptop in Waterside break-ins

Burglars stole a laptop, game console, microwave and two TV sets in break-ins in the Waterside at the weekend.

Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information about two weekend burglaries.

On Saturday afternoon, a house at Primrose Street was entered through an open upstairs window. A white laptop and a black PlayStation were stolen.

Sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon a house at Chapel Road was entered through a rear window.

Two TVs and a microwave oven were stolen. It is believed the thieves exited the same way they entered and may have made their way on foot to Primrose Street.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.
