Burglary and arson attack in Moira

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information following a burglary at The Four Trees bar in Moira, last Friday during which money was taken from inside the premises.

It is believed this took place sometime between around 12.30am and 2am and that entry was gained from the rear of the building.

Police would like to know if you were in Moira at the time and happened to see anything unusual? If so contact Lisburn Police on 101, quoting serial 85of 11/3/16.

Police in Lisburn are also appealing for information following an attempted arson attack at ‘Escapades’ hair salon in the Village Centre Moira sometime between around 6pm on Wednesday, March 9 and 8.40am on Thursday, March 10.

Burnt paper was found through the letterbox of the shop and outside the front door.

Obviously this could have led to serious damage to the premises and surrounding buildings.
