Burglary at New Row business

Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary of business premises in the New Row area of Coleraine.

Six men arrested after 'serious assault' in Co Antrim bar.
Police said that at around 6pm a group of men entered McConnell's Bar on Main Street in Doagh with weapons including hammers and baseball bats before attacking a man in his 40s.
The man was taken to hospital where he's being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Detective Sergeant Chris Wilkinson said: “Sometime between 5.45pm on Thursday, 5 February and 8.45am on Friday, 6 February a building was entered and a number of business premises therein were entered.

“A sum of cash was stolen along with some Christmas ornaments.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about this incident to contact Detectives in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.
