Burglary of commercial premises
Police in Ballymoney are investigating a burglary at commercial premises in the Riada Ave area over night.
Sometime between 5:45pm last night (Thurs 14 July) and 8:20am this morning, thieves broke into the building and stole a quantity of specialist tools, socket sets, specialist measuring micrometers and a thread restoring kit. They also stole between 25-30 reconditioned Turbos for vehicles. The estimated cost of all the items runs into several thousands of pounds.
Anyone who witnessed the burglary or who noticed any unusual activity in the area is asked to contact police at Ballymoney on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
