Burst pipe causes water loss in city centre

Businesses in Lisburn City Centre were left without water for a number of hours on Friday (March 6).

A spokesperson for NI Water confirmed the loss of service was the result of a burst pipe in Linenhall Street in the city centre.

It is understood that NI Water repaired the burst pipe by 6pm on Friday (March 6) and service was restored to the local businesses on Friday evening.
