Bus service to Rushmere running almost a year

This Tuesday and Thursday bus service, collects passengers at Blackers Mill at 11am and travels via Knocknamuckley Church, McCleary’s Cross Roads, Markville, Scotts Corner and Rushmere Shopping Centre; returning again at 2pm.

The service, which is funded under the Rural Transport Fund, administered by the Department for Regional Development has been developed to reduce the social isolation experienced by many local residents.

Senior SmartPass holders and 60+ SmartPass holders are reminded to take advantage of their free travel. Translink has also recently introduced an iLink integrated smartcard that provides unlimited day, weekly or monthly bus and rail travel within three specified zones across Northern Ireland.
