Bushmills branch says thank you

The sun shone on the Ladies, Men and Juveniles playing in the McCullough Cup Stableford Competition, the “Preposterous Putting” was ‘impossible’ according to some but one Gracehill Golfer proved them wrong. The prizes were fantastic and a brilliant raffle rounded everything off with Graeme McDowell’s shirt heading off to Canada to a keen collector who bid a generous £300.

Brave acting treasurer Melanie and her husband Rodney took part in the Ramore Abseil at Ramore Head in Portrush where they raised a magnificent £646.

A Blooming Great Tea Party, organised by Uriel in the Clocktower Restaurant in Ballymoney, raised a delicious £1,142.

A regular customer guessed the number of teabags in the teapot and the milkman won the raffle! Uriel and her team created a welcoming and fun atmosphere that was the talk of the “Toon”.

The Bushmills Fundraising Group would like to thank the Ballymoney and Moyle Times for giving them the opportunity to acknowledge the continued generosity and support of the community that make the work of the Marie Curie Nurses possible.
