Bushvalley Primary join with UK and Irish schools for celebration of reading

PUPILS at Bushvalley Primary School have joined with schools across the UK and Ireland in the year's biggest celebration of reading.

The online event "Read to a Million Children", gave children the chance to listen to books being read by authors and story tellers.

Classes listened to a variety of books, and organisers hope that it will encourage children to begin to read for themselves and begin a life-long love of language.
