Business networking event

AN innovative business networking project is due to return to Limavady on Thursday, August 23, when Roe Valley business leaders will meet to discuss projects and exchange contact information.

The ‘Open Coffee’ business networking event will take place at Cafe Piazza from 6-8pm, with aim of promoting co-operation between businesses in a relaxed environment to connect with suppliers, customers and new businesses in the area.

Open Coffee organiser Jason Bell said: “The idea is to create a community, a meeting place for business to be able to communicate, collaborate and the celebrate what they bring to the borough.

“Previously we’ve seen many businesses from varying sectors interacting with potential customers and suppliers that may not have previously been possible. The main emphasis is no pressure and there are no stiff presentations or business pitches. Just grab a coffee or a tea, sit down, relax and have a chat with some local businesses.

“I’m delighted that the Limavady Crafters will be showing their work showing all angles of the creative sectors in the borough. I’d encourage anyone that’s anything to show, whether that be a web site, piece of music or a piece of art/photography to come down and show it. With the wide range of creative output in the borough and the thriving business sector as a whole, it’s worth coming to down to Cafe Piazza and getting involved.”

Open Coffee Limavady runs from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 23rd of August at Cafe Piazza next door to the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre.
