Businessman attacked at night safe
A LARNE businessman has warned others to be on their guard when using night safes and cash machines after he was the victim of an attempted robbery in the town centre.
The man - who did not wish to be named - was attempting to make a lodgement at the Ulster Bank night safe on Thursday, March 17 when he was attacked by two youths.
“It just all happened so fast and it was very unexpected. I think they were just hanging around waiting for somebody to come along and use the cash machine or night safe,” the businessman said.
