The club wish to thank Caroline Patterson for training the choir and to pianist Olivia Gordon for her contribution.

Before Christmas members held their Annual Carol Service in Swatragh Presbyterian Church where families and friends enjoyed a series of carols and readings followed by tea and lovely mince pies and shortbread.

Proceeds from the collection at the service will be added to the funds being raised for some members heading to Zomba this summer.

Kilrea members also took part in the YFCU Know your Neighbour event by each brining along a child’s gift to a club meeting.

The gifts were then distributed to children within Northern Ireland during the Christmas period. Thanks to all who took part.

Meanwhile the next club meeting saw members in convoy for their Roving Supper. There were Christmas jumpers galore for the event and cars loads pulling up and filling homes and kitchens where Mrs Linton, Alexander, Halliday and Thompson provided lovely dishes for everyone.
