Busy times for Kilrea YFC

Members of Kilrea YFC attended the Arts Festival Gala in Milennium Forum, Londonderry where Kilrea received an award of outstanding merit for Most Imaginative Theme for their production of Downton Shabby.

The last club meeting saw the club at ‘Room to Race’ in Ballymoney where the club enjoyed the car rallying with a difference – all virtual!

On 23rd March five members, Adam Alexander, Charlotte Linton, Jill Halliday, Gavin Thompson and Adam McCormick attended Disability Sport NI event held in Lagan Valley Leisureplex where they participated in Wheelchair basketball, Goal ball and New Age Curling.

The Annual Parents and Friends Night was held in Kilrea Primary School on Saturday 19th March. A variety of acts were put on stage and thanks to Janice Irwin and Caroline Patterson for all their help with these. Guest speaker for the evening was Sandra Overend MLA, who was able to share some of her memories of her time in

Moneymore YFC. Club Leader Adam McCormick extended a vote of thanks to all who came along to the parents night and to anyone who supported the club during the year. The club wish to thank Kilrea Primary School for the use of their premises for the Parents Night.
