Lagan Valley MP Jeffrey Donaldson and the National House Building Council’s Regional Director David Little were on hand to present site Manager Michael Poole, of WJ Law, with an award.

It in fact marked Michael’s 10th consecutive NHBC Pride in the Job Award for quality housing, a feat achieved by only a few in the 35-year history of the scheme.

Michael was described as “a highly respected individual who consistently has gone the extra mile for his customers” and both Mr Donaldson and Mr Little spoke warmly of the site manager and Lisburn builders WJ Law, a company proclaiming itself proud to have “so many contented customers” in 112 years of business.

Executive Chairman David Law said: “Michael Poole, ably assisted at Ballantine by Jean Hampton, is a total credit to WJ Law, and I am thrilled that the NHBC also recognise how brilliant a manager and person he is.

“To have so many come and mark their appreciation of an amazing 10 consecutive years is testament to Michael’s attention to detail and pride in the job.”
