Cadenza in concert at St. Patrick's

THE vocal ensemble Cadenza was established in 1995 and performs regularly at concerts, church services, weddings and charity events all over Ireland.

They have a wide repertoire of music in both sacred and secular styles from the Renaissance through to the present day.

Since appearing in ‘Songs of Praise’ in 1998 it has featured in local television broadcasts and radio and annual in Carol Services from the Ulster Hall.

Recently the Cadenza performed John Rutter’s ‘Requiem’ in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Belfast and joined the Choir of Down Cathedral, Downpatrick to record the CD ‘A Prayer of St Patrick’. Earlier this year it made a very successful debut in Berlin.

Cadenza will be performing a varied programme of choral and organ music played by its Director Michael McCracken in St Patrick’s Parish Church, Ballymena Saturday, June 12, at 7.30pm admission 8.
