"It is disappointing for any town that so many jobs have been lost and a severe blow to the local economy. These people will now join a long queue of people at the jobs and benefits office."

UUC Councillor Leslie Cubitt called the news "sad" and added that more needed to be done to help businesses in the town.

"This is just one of many closures the town has suffered in the last while. The council needs to have a look at what can be done to help business owners throughout Limavady."
