Cage bird show
Lurgan Cage Bird Society, the oldest cage bird society in Ireland, is holding its annual show on Saturday in Eire Og at
Pinebank.
Final preparations have been put in place for the show and it’s hoped to attract birds and bird fanciers from all over Ireland.
Over the years cage bird keeping has changed and in bygone days when the show was in Lurgan Town Hall poultry and pigeons were included but currently cage and aviary birds are what are exhibited.
The current chairman Peter Doran welcomed any of the public who wish to attend the show to come to Eire Og between 2pm and 3.30pm.
