The final takes place at 7.30pm in the Burnavon Theatre. Tickets are £10, £8 for concession, and available from the Burnavon Box Office. Come along and support your favourite act on the night, but don’t forget your banner – there’s £100 up for grabs for the best banner on show!

The competition has been running since May, with heats taking place across the province. Budding superstars between the age of 12-19 performed a song of their choice, with the top three from five regions making it all the way to the Grand Final, and a step closer to that £1,750 prize fund!

It is organised by credit unions, who have a strong belief in nurturing the talent of young people, and giving them the opportunity to showcase those talents through a range of youth initiatives each year.

This year’s finalists have a lot to live up to, with previous CU Factor finalists taking their abilities to our television screens… including Janet Devlin of X Factor fame, Sophie Griffin, a finalist in last year’s The Voice UK, and Niall Sexton, also of X Factor and recent support act to Tulisa and Ne-Yo in Liverpool.

The £1,750 prize fund up for grabs will give the winning act £1000, a second prize of £500 and third prize, £250.
