Call for local gardeners to take part in TV series

LOCAL gardeners are being encouraged to take part in a new television series provisionally called "Get Up And Grow" which aims to teach people how to transform their own gardens.

Have you always wanted to do more in the garden but just don’t know where to start? Would you like to increase your garden ‘kerb appeal’?

And do you and your family need inspiration to get your garden into shape?

If so then the new BBC series can help you. The new series will have its own resident landscape and gardening experts who are looking for people who need help to kick-start their gardens.

Over the course of the coming year, the team will visit homes throughout Northern Ireland in an attempt to get people outside and help them make big changes to their garden. To Get up and Grow.

The programme’s expert gardening team will offer expert advice, handy hints and top tips in order to help you transform your garden. They’ll also muck in and take on practical tasks both large and small in an effort to help you make the most of your outside space.

So whether you’re a gardening novice who’s looking for help on where to start or a frustrated green-fingered wannabe who just needs a shovel in the right direction, then we’re looking to hear from you.
