Call for Sunday bus
Councillor Lynn Frazer has called on Translink to put on a Sunday service to the Abbey Centre serving the Carnmoney and Antrim Road areas of Glengormley.
At March’s Planning and Consultation committee meeting, the Alliance representative said such a service could prove popular.
Local Translink manager Gerry Mullan said: “It is something we can look at, but unfortunately the passenger numbers for that service through the week are declining.
“We have to look at ways of increasing passenger numbers and if the demand is not there then we can’t make a good case for putting on new services.”
