Call to support rural groups

George said: “I came here today to meet with local families to hear of the issues that are of interest to them and impact them on a daily basis.

“The provision of facilities in the rural area has always been a major issue. Donacloney Rural Needs is an excellent facility with staff that provide a service that is second-to-none in bringing the community together whether it be for Mother and Toddlers, Craft Classes or for a Senior Citizens get-together.

“It is important that we invest in these local facilities both financially and by our use of them to ensure they stay in the local area. Donacloney Rural Needs is an example of a group moving in a positive direction whilst also uniting the community.

“I commend all involved in Donacloney Rural Needs and encourage them to keep up the good work.”
