Calling all bikers to a motorcycle eggs-travaganza!

SUNDAY, March 28 sees the return of the annual Ballymena Rider Training Charity Motorcycle Run which last year raised over £2,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

A mountain of Easter Eggs were also donated by the participants for Beechgrove and Loughan Special Schools and other children's charities.

The run will gather and leave the car park outside T7 Honda in Pennybridge, Ballymena at 1.30pm on March 28.

The bikes will take the scenic route past Slemish and through the Glens to Carnlough before stopping for a short break.

After a ride along the coast road, the run will return to Ballymena where a light lunch will be provided.

Cost is a minimum of 5 per bike plus an Easter Egg.

Once again this fantastic event has been organised by Ballymena Rider Training.

Chief Instructor David McGuckin said: "I have been astounded at the ever growing interest in this charity ride out. Last year's run out was really successful with 350 bikes taking part and over 2000 being raised, this year we hope to raise even more for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Thanks again to the generosity of local businesses, a number of prizes are on offer for the free raffle which will be held at the end of the run.

Be a part of this momentous and magnificent spectacle - come and join in at Pennybridge this March, and whether you have a scooter or a racer, custom or classic, have a fantastic day out while helping to raise some money for a local Charity.

Those without motorcycles are welcome to come and cheer the bikers on their way!
