“Economically, they could then thrive, rather than attempt to marginalise the people of Gibraltar, penalising the thousands of Spanish workers who depend on Gibraltar for their livelihoods,” said Mr Campbell.

He was speaking during a Parliamentary debate on relations between Spain and the United Kingdom.
It was claimed by Conservative MP, JAck Lopresti that “there were 285 unlawful incursions of Spanish state vessels into British Gibraltarian waters in the first eight months of this year.”
