Can Can stage successful fashion show

The reason for the show is to allow the public to see the quality and variety of items that Can Can sell and to encourage members of the public to visit their shop on the Main Street Ballymoney.

Clare Carson, Enterprise Manager stated: “This was our first fashion show since the re-launch of our shop back in May, and I would like to say A big Thank You to every single customer through our doors, and for giving us your support at the events we hold. Without all your support and custom we wouldn’t be where we are today.

“We tried to create a charity shop that stands out from the crowd, and thankfully it has worked! We have many new customers as well as our regular customers who have all been pleasantly surprised in the change of image.

Can Can Bazaar continue to sell a range of fair trade and ethically sourced jewellery, clothes and giftware within the shop to complement their previously loved items.

The main reason for their charity shop of course is not about what they sell but about supporting people and providing work placements for adults with learning difficulties, this allows them to develop their skills and experiences within retail to enable them to progress in this field of employment.

Clare added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers who have had a very busy few months in the re-launch of the shop and also for their help at the fashion show and all the other events we hold.
