Can you ID stone throwers?

POLICE in Ballymena are seeking assistance in identifying the young vandals who were involved in two separate stone throwing incidents in the town last Friday, May 7.

In one incident, young people aged between six and 11 years, threw stones into a car dealer’s yard and damaged vehicles.

The bodywork of four cars was damaged in the incident at Antrim Road, Ballee, at about 9.30pm on Friday, May 7.

In a second, separate incident at around 11.30pm on the same date, a fire appliance was stoned when it attended a call to Dunclug Gardens where rubbish had been set alight.

As the appliance left the scene, youths threw stones that damaged a mirror and the bodywork.

Anyone who can help identify the vandals involved in either incident is asked to contact the police on 0845 600 8000.
