Cancer Focus mobile unit coming to Ballymoney

The local community is being encouraged to hop onboard to have their health checked out for free at SuperValu Ballymoney on 25th September from 9.30am-4.30pm

The Cancer Focus Northern Ireland Keeping Well van is a mobile drop-in unit which delivers health checks and cancer awareness sessions directly to workplaces, sports and community groups across Northern Ireland.

The health checks available onboard include blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, carbon monoxide monitoring for smokers, BMI and a body composition analysis. The health awareness sessions are delivered on a one-to-one basis. They offer advice on improving health and provide information on the early signs and symptoms of various cancers.
