Two of the main issues David is campaigning on are raising the minimum wage to £9.50 in Northern Ireland for large corporations, and introducing a bill which will make it illegal for companies to run a credit check on potential new employees.

David said: “I’m very focused on health and people with disabilities who are not treated with respect or being given proper guidance. I want people to know that I will be giving 15 per cent of my salary back to groups within the community who need it and I will not be claiming expenses. I want people to know there is a choice out there that doesn’t offer the politics of fear, division and greed and that there is someone outside the establishment.”
