Canine capering at Dogs Trust day

DOGS and dog lovers alike are invited to Dogs Trust Ballymena Rehoming Centre on Saturday 4th September for the Rehoming Centre's annual Open Day.

Highlights of the day include the legendary ‘Doggy Dash’ race; Refreshments including chip van, ice cream van, tea & coffee;Face painting;Various stalls, including craft, bric-a-brac, plants, etc.; raffle; Pet photographer; Have-a-go-agility and much, much more!

Mary Carney, Dogs Trust Ballymena Rehoming Centre Manager, says: “We can promise a great day out for all the family whether they have two legs or four! There will be all sorts of activities to keep everyone occupied and amused, so do come and join the fun.

“Every year we also look forward to welcoming back some of the old canine resident’s of the centre who have gone on to find wonderful new homes in the local community!”

The gates will open at 12noon at the Rehoming Centre, based at 60 Teeshan Road, Ballymena, Co Antrim, and the event will finish around 4pm. There is an entry fee of just 1 for adults, while children and dogs go free!
