Cannabis fine

He was 30-year-old Rodney Gilmore, of Drumgor Heights, Craigavon.

The court heard police saw the defendant in Legahory Court and when they approached him he started fidgeting. They checked the ground beside him and found a small amount of cannabis resin.

When he was asked where he got the drug the defendant said he could not disclose that information.

A barrister for Gilmore said he had a number of similar previous convictions but he was now receiving addiction counselling and had not used cannabis since this incident.
