Cannabis handed to nurse
A 38-year-old Lurgan man was fined £150 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for unlawful possession of cannabis.
Chris May, Hill Street, Lurgan, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that on September 23 last year at Craigavon Area Hospital May handed over two small bags to a staff nurse.
Mr Conor Downey, defending, said May had gone to the hospital to seek assistance for his addiction.
