Cannabis seized during stop and search
A quantity of cannabis was seized during a stop and search operation.
The development was announced in a post on the PSNI Newtownabbey Facebook page today (Tuesday).
Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police officers, while conducting a pro-active patrol in the Newtownabbey area, stopped a vehicle and conducted a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Two males were found to be in possession of cannabis and are being reported the Public Prosecution Service.”
