The court heard that the defendant was arrested on May 14 and when searched a small quantity of cannabis was found in his right sock.

He said that it was for his own use.

A barrister representing the defendant said this was his client’s third conviction for a drugs offence.

He added that Brady had stopped using cannabis and had a job interview.

Deputy District Judge Laura Ievers said Brady had a chance to get into the workplace and would be an incentive to stay out of trouble.
