CAP Money Course on offer

A local debt-counselling charity is set to run a free Money Course to help people in Ballymoney get on top of their household finances.

Members of Christians Against Poverty Ballymoney want to help their local community to best handle the economic climate. They are offering a short Money Course aimed to putting the joy back into money by teaching people how to chart their household income and take control of their expenditure.

The CAP Money Course is a free 3-week evening course that will teach you budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. In just a few weeks, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save and prevent debt.

Money coach Susan Attenborough, who will be leading the CAP Money course this coming March, said: “With households feeling the squeeze on their disposable income, we’ve all got to get a bit more savvy about our money to get through these tough times. If you know how to save and budget effectively, it can have a hugely positive impact on the whole family.”

The CAP Money Course has been found to be useful for newly retired people, soon-to-be students, mums dealing with mounting bills, families saving for a wedding and everyone in between.
