Car crashed into a manhole dislodged by rain in Londonderry
THE torrential rain in Londonderry on Wednesday (June 27) was so bad a car crashed into a manhole that had been dislodged by rainwater in the Strand Road area.
The incident occurred at approximately 5pm on Wednesday.
Police received a report of a vehicle damaged on the Strand Road at around 5pm. It is believed damage was caused as a result of a dislodged manhole due to the excessive rain water.
