Car petrol bombedin Ballymagroarty

The PSNI in Londonderry are appealing for information following the petrol bomb attack on the car at Harty Court on the evening of February 27.

The car sustained damage to the bonnet when the petrol bomb struck it shortly after 8pm on Saturday. Fire service personnel attended and extinguished the fire. Enquiries to establish a motive for the attack are ongoing.

Inspector Greg Smyth has appealed to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about this incident to contact police at Strand Road on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
